Biography

Representative Allison Dahle is a proud Raleigh native and one of the newest representatives in the North Carolina House of Representatives she represents District 11, which covers parts of Cary and parts of Southwest Raleigh. Allison lives in Raleigh with her wife, Lou and their two dogs, Ollie and Fritz.

Allison has had a variety of different careers, she was a professional theatrical stage manager, a community rehabilitation specialist, who worked as an advocate to help people with developmental disabilities find gainful employment, and now as a manager in a local law office.

Allison has served on various boards and associations including the President of Carolina Designers Craftsman Guild, Pullen Memorial Baptist Church, Moms Demand Action, ARC of North Carolina, the Young Adult Institute, Planned Parenthood, and the Women’s March.
Allison was elected in November 2018 and enjoys working for all North Carolinians in the General Assembly. In the State House, Allison currently serves on four committees and looks forward to working to keep our students safe, respecting our public school teachers, protecting our environment and natural resources, and achieving equality and equal justice for all people in North Carolina.
