Biography
Juan Miguel Arredondo has served on the San Marcos CISD Board of Trustees since May of 2015. He is the youngest elected official in county and the first LGBT elected official in Hays County history. Juan Miguel is a graduate of San Marcos High School and an alumnus of Texas State University where he studied Public Administration and Political Science. Arredondo, a fifth-generation San Marcan whose family has a legacy of public service having formerly served on the board of United Way of Hays and Caldwell Counties and the board of directors for Centro Cultural Hispano de San Marcos.
