Ashley Klein

Indiana House of Representatives, District 39

Ashley will be the first openly LGBTQ women elected to the Indiana General Assembly

Biography

Ashley was raised in Carmel, Indiana. Over the course of her 15-year career in real estate, she has spent time listening to neighbors and learning about their mutual love for this community as well as their worries for the future. As a mother and small-business owner, she shares many of those concerns. That is why she is running for a seat at the table in the Indiana House of Representatives for District 39 – encompassing the majority of Carmel.

Carmel needs a leader who will advance the values and interests of this welcoming and dynamic community; and a legislator who will bring a fresh voice to issues we all care about: increasing resources for education, protecting the environment and improving Indiana’s aging infrastructure.

Ashley is a Realtor at F.C. Tucker Company, a 1999 graduate of Carmel High School, a 2003 graduate of Purdue University, B.A. in Political Science, Former Indiana House Democratic Intern in 2001, and has previous experience as a commercial real estate appraiser, a foster care advocate and fundraiser for the United Way of Central Indiana.
