Biography
Austin is a dedicated public servant and changemaker passionate about making positive impacts in his communities. Austin is currently the Director of Legislative Affairs for the Illinois Department of Insurance, and previously served as the Chief of Staff for State Sen. Mark Walker. In that role, he has helped Wheeling Township residents access needed services, cut through bureaucracies, and listened to their concerns to implement change. Austin is committed to ensuring every constituent’s voice is heard and using his government experience to bring commonsense reforms to Wheeling Township.
