Biography
Bryn Oakleaf is a committed public servant. She has served as an AmeriCorps volunteer, and as a state government employee before committing to non-profit work over the past 5 years. She is steadfast in her commitment to enhancing the health and wellbeing of communities through environmental protection and conservation work. Bryn has her Masters in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School and has extensive policy experience in drafting, adopting and implementing in Vermont. She has is a two term City Councilor and is seeking a third term to support Winooski’s economic and infrastructure development projects. Thanks to Bryn’s efforts on City Council, Winooski has raised the progressive pride flag in the downtown core, and launched an Inclusion and Belonging Commission focusing on increasing public engagement and removing barriers to influencing policy decisions.
