Biography
Carl Bryan has dedicated his career to advocating for a quality public education system that serves every Kenosha student. A proud product of the Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD), Carl first brought his passion for education to the KUSD School Board from 2009 to 2015, offering fresh perspectives as a recent high school graduate. Carl’s commitment to public education extends beyond his tenure on the school board, where he has worked for the past ten years in education policy and budgeting at the state’s K-12 education agency. In this role, Carl works tirelessly to ensure that public schools across the state have the resources they need to succeed.
Carl holds a bachelors degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and a master’s degree in public administration from Northwestern University. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at Minnesota State University-Moorhead, further deepening his knowledge of educational leadership and policy. Now, he is running to return to the board, bringing several years of unique experience in educational policy to address the district’s most pressing challenges and fight for a high-quality education for every child, regardless of their background. His vision for the school district is one where every student is prepared for success in school, work, and life.
