Cheryl will continue to be the only out LGBTQ official elected in Osceola County!
Cheryl was the first out gay woman to be elected in Osceola County. She served as a City of Kissimmee Commissioner from 2004 to 2012. Currently, she is an Osceola County Commissioner seeking her third term. Cheryl has been successful in passing domestic partner benefits during her time as a City Commissioner. As a County Commissioner, she also led the charge to pass a Human Rights Ordinance as well as a domestic partner registry.
