David will continue to fight tirelessly for the people of Yardley Borough!
David Bria was first elected to Yardley Borough Council in 2017 and has served as Council President since January of 2020. Early in his first term, he passed an LGBTQ-inclusive anti-discrimination ordinance which provides legal protections for LGBTQ people against discrimination in housing, employment and public accommodation. The bill also banned the practice of conversion therapy on minors.
David’s priorities for his next term include passing an alternative energy ordinance and securing funding to make Yardley Borough Hall ADA compliant. He is also working to find innovative ways to expedite the local community’s economic recovery from the pandemic.
David currently works as the Deputy Treasurer for the County of Bucks, where he oversees banking and investment activity for the County’s $450 million annual budget.
