Biography
Derek Field is a policy and data analyst at the University of Wisconsin and a leader on local issues in Madison such as housing, neighborhood planning, and transportation. He grew up on his family’s farm in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin and moved to Madison for school. He and his husband live on the East Side of Madison because it is beautiful, safe, and affordable, and works hard to keep it that way.
