Biography

Colorado State Senator Dominick was born and raised in Commerce City. He attended Georgetown University earning his BA in American Government. Less than a year after graduating, Moreno was elected to the City Council in Commerce City and appointed Mayor Pro-Tem. He worked as a Legislative Aide for the Colorado General Assembly before being elected to represent District 32 in the Colorado House of Representatives. Dominick is the youngest member of the state legislature and serves as Assistant Majority Leader. During his legislative career, Dominick has sponsored legislation to expand school breakfast at low-income schools, increase homeowner awareness of oil and gas issues, and allow for great-grandparent visitation with great-grandchildren.
