Erin will be the first openly LGBTQ member of the Riverside City Council
A former AmeriCorps volunteer, Erin got her start in front of a high school classroom, helping low-income students get into college. Since that time, she has worked for youth in the foster care system, led innovative projects to end hunger and homelessness, and has helped raise, manage, and invest millions of dollars for charities around the world.
Throughout her career, Erin has been a strong advocate for neighbors in need. And she’s not afraid to try new approaches to old problems. She led a network of soup kitchens and food pantries, piloted a program to solve youth homelessness, worked for a dance troupe to end child trafficking, and supported women entrepreneurs across the globe.
Erin lives in Riverside with her partner, Liz, and their toddler, Ramona.
