Ethan will be a strong advocate for the LGBTQ community on the Berwyn Heights Town Council
Ethan was first elected to the Berwyn Heights Town Council in May of 2018. Ethan attended North Dakota State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Crop and Weed Science, and a Master of Science degree in Plant Science with an emphasis on crop production. With this knowledge, Ethan is a strong supporter of environmental sustainability and works to engage growers in new ways to ensure the long-term viability of their cropping systems. He is also an avid supporter of increasing awareness about food equity, ensuring that everyone has access to a healthy, well-rounded diet.
As a member of the Berwyn Heights Town Council, Ethan as been part of discussions surrounding the redevelopment of Beltway Plaza, an area in neighboring Greenbelt that serves as the commercial hot spot for his community. Ethan has urged developers to remain cognizant of environmental design and the opportunity to enhance green spaces as a part of the redevelopment. Additionally, he has advocated for the creation of more pedestrian and bicycle friendly infrastructure within his community, especially along traffic heavy corridors.
