Ric Gordon

Ric was born Brandon Ricardo Gordon in Prince George’s County, Maryland on September 19th, 1982 and he is a product of Prince George’s Co. Public Schools. Ric Graduated from Morris College in 2004 obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Pre-Law with his Minor in Psychology. Ric went on to Graduate Studies for his Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Ric is a practicing political scientist & served in Various Organizations throughout his time on Greenbelt for nearly a Decade, Such as Founder & Fmr. Chair of Greenbelt Voices Rising , Fmr. Vice Chair of The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board for Greenbelt and Fmr. Vice President of GATe TV to name a few. Ric is a community activist within the city holding various voter registration events and community rallies against community violence, Ric has often been an advocate for his fellow residents of Franklin Park for the various needs and concerns they have between property management and the city of Greenbelt. Ric is a Published Author of 3 Books & Fmr. Host of The Platinum Mic Podcast, Ric is an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and Prince Hall Freemason of Warren Lodge #8 , Ric Resides in The Franklin Park Community in Greenbelt West with his wife Carla whom he met and married in Greenbelt
