Rob Grilley will ensure continued LGBTQ representation in Albuquerque
Rob Grilley’s background is in early childhood education as well as civic and community development. He has worked in offices, classrooms, community centers, and statehouses and currently serves as President of Common Bond New Mexico Foundation, a non-profit that helps at-risk members of the LGBTQ+ community. He earned his degree in Political Science from the University of New Mexico and has worked with city, state, and federal legislators advocating for the needs of at-risk communities with a focus on youth and early childhood development. Most recently he worked with now State Representative Meredith Dixon’s campaign (HD 20) and served as legislative assistant in Santa Fe, assisting the Representative as well as working with the House Appropriations and House Energy Committees.
His goals are to improve public safety through data-driven policing solutions, reduce homelessness by implementing a continuum of care, outcome-focused, approach, and restoring economic vitality and pride in his district’s part of historic Route 66.
