Frank will be a key voice for equality!
Frank Guzman is a lifelong resident of Pomona whose goal has always been focused on student success, providing educational opportunity and advocating for those without a voice. Frank is product of Pomona Unified School District who graduated in 1997.
Frank has two kids, Frankie and Arianna. Both my kids have graduated from Diamond Ranch High School in Pomona Unified. His son just graduated with his Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan and now attends the Harvard Kennedy School of Government for his Masters of Public Policy degree. His daughter is at Norco College pursuing her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. He is a proud father who loves serving his community.
Frank is the founder of the Pomona Pride Center, a non-profit organization focused on empowering the LGBTQ+ community founded in 2019. Additionally, Frank also founded the Latino Educational Association of Pomona, a non-profit whose focus is to mentor and empower the Latino community through educational and cultural events and activities. Frank is the president of both organizations.
Over the next four years, Frank’s priorities will be to increase the parent and community engagement, increase the arts programs and funding, create a middle college education program, institute ethnic studies as a graduation requirement and ensuring safety always, but particularly in a time of COVID.
On November 3rd, Frank needs your support and your vote.
