Hunter will be the first openly LGBTQ member of the Clark County Commission
Hunter Cain is a former, senior-level staffer for Dina Titus’s district office. In his capacity as Outreach and Veterans Services Director, he settled almost $2 million in casework on behalf of constituents for the district. His work in politics began after being honorably discharged from the Army after serving from October 2001 to April 2010. Hunter’s goal of helping his community has been all-encompassing, and led him to take foster parenting classes at the end of 2015, and start fostering in January of 2016.
His son came into Hunter’s home in mid 2017, where he was later adopted. He is currently fostering another son to adopt.
Hunter is also a member of the LGBTQ community, identifying openly as a bisexual, and would be the first openly LGBTQ member of the Clark County Commission, as well as bringing representation as a disabled vet and foster father.
