Jace will be the first out LGBTQ+ person to serve on the Bellingham City Council!
Jace Cotton is a former public K-12 paraeducator, pandemic grocery worker, and campaign manager running for Bellingham City Council. As a professional organizer, he’s helped flip state legislative seats from red to blue and pass local initiatives like the Healthy Children’s Fund, which invested over $100 million dollars in affordable childcare and other early childhood supports. He is running to advance the work of building affordable housing, creating a living wage local economy, and building an inclusive and safe community. When elected, they will be the first openly gay person elected to Bellingham City Council.
