Biography
“My wife Sherrill introduced me to Campton, NH. I soon came to cherish its natural beauty and to appreciate its residents who so carefully steward its resources and heritage. After retirement, I moved permanently from Ohio to Campton in June, 2019. My background includes a medical education that required discipline and hard work and a career based on service, education and leadership. I practiced and taught Obstetrics and Gynecology for 37 years in two community hospital systems in Columbus, Oh. I served on various hospital committees and as department chair. My civic engagement in Campton includes serving actively as a Conservation Commissioner, Campton representative on the Pemi River Local Advisory Committee and as a member of the Campton Zoning Board of Adjustment. Sherrill and I have two accomplished, activist daughters who have given us 3 amazing grandchildren. Sherrill and I attended the Women’s March on DC January 21, 2017 to demonstrate for their futures while they attended a corresponding March in Montpelier, Vt.”
