Biography
Jim is a semi-retired attorney with a 43-year career practicing as a County Attorney, a Private Practitioner, and a Public Defender. He is a life-long Iowan and has lived with his significant other, Darren, for the past 6 years.
Jim is looking forward to using his advocacy skills and persistence to support public schools, advocate for women’s health and reproductive freedom, and make Iowa a more inclusive place for everyone.
