Jonathan Cook

Jonathan Cook currently serves as the Executive Director of the Sacramento Housing Alliance. Previously he led the Solano Pride Center as Executive Director. Most of his career has been dedicated to serving youth. His career in the non-profit sector has centered around public policy focused on affordable housing and homelessness, community mental health, education, and LGBTQ rights. The organizations he has led primarily served low-income communities and have missions that center social justice. As a local non-profit executive director, Jonathan fought to deliver funding to support our children by providing after school programs, mental health resources, and college and career opportunities. He proudly advocates for the development of thousands of homes annually for low-income families, so students can focus on school and not where they’ll be sleeping at night. Jonathan has been recognized by the Sacramento Business Journal as part of the Power 100 Most Powerful People in Local Real Estate and Development list and the 2024 40 Under 40 list.
