Jordan is the youngest openly LGBTQ elected official in the U.S.
Jordan was appointed to the Gold Bar City Council in March of 2019 at 19 years old making him the youngest elected official in Washington history and the youngest openly LGBTQ elected official in the country. The first law Jordan passed in Gold Bar was to recognize June as Pride month. Jordan also currently serves as Chairman of Washington’s 39th Legislative District Democrats and has previously served as both 1st vice and 2nd vice chair. Jordan served as the secretary of the Sky Valley Citizens for Schools which passed levies lowering local taxes. He currently works as a Financial Services Representative at a credit union.
