Biography
David Joyner walks into court each day to fight for survivors, victims, and witnesses of crime as an Assistant District Attorney in Wilmington, North Carolina. An eight generation eastern North Carolinian and the proud son of two retired public school teachers, David is now joining the fight for a better Wilmington. Motivated to get into politics by his passion for environmental justice, David is running to make affordable housing a reality, to fix the region’s transportation system, and to bring his experience from the courts to the Wilmington’s public safety strategy. David is dedicated to making Wilmington the best it can be for all.
