Kali Clark

Sammamish City Council

Kali will be the first out LGBTQ member of Sammamish City Council!

Kali was born and raised in Washington and is proud to call Sammamish home. The entirety of Kali’s career has been in public service, starting as a wildland firefighter for eight years for the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR). During her tenure at DNR, she managed Forest Practices and natural resources specialists, which created the opportunity to work with a broad range of landowners, municipalities, tribes, agencies, and communities toward a common goal. Kali went on to work at Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and currently works at Sound Transit on emergency planning.
She is proud to have earned her Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Washington and has participated in the AgForestry Leadership Foundation. Through each of these roles, Kali has demonstrated that she is an experienced manager with expertise in policy development, sustainable transportation, emergency management, and natural resources. She would be honored to put that experience to work for Sammamish.
