Kate's victory will preserve LGBTQ leadership in Red Bank!
Kate L. Triggiano was first elected to Red Bank Borough Council in 2018. In her first term, Kate has spearheaded multiple successful environmental ordinances including a plastic bag ban, invasive species (bamboo) ordinance, balloon release ordinance, and an ordinance to reach 100% clean, renewable energy by 2030 in Red Bank. Kate also introduced the first Medicare for all Resolution in the State, which her colleagues supported and was passed unanimously. Other accomplishments during her first term include championing the first Police Department volunteer translator/interpreter program in the state, and the first, now annual, Red Bank Pride in the Park event. Kate also serves as Public safety chair. In her next term, Kate is focused on the road map forward for all of Red Bank’s municipal facilities, and always making sure Red Bank is a welcoming, inclusive, sustainable place to be.
