Kathy Adams

Upper Arlington City Council

Kathy will be the first out LGBTQ councilmember on the Upper Arlington City Council!

In college, Kathy worked in a refugee office and went to law school because she wanted to make a difference for those who are new to our country. Now she is running for office to make Upper Arlington just as welcoming as she wanted those New Americans to feel.
Kathy returned to Upper Arlington as an adult after and not only did this community welcome her back, they also welcomed her children back and helped her to provide the best education possible for her kids. Kathy is running because she wants to give back to the community that embraced her after her divorce.
Kathy has spent the last 14 years in public service with the State of Ohio, as a lawyer, helping clients make the best use of our state tax dollars. She will bring that experience to the Upper Arlington City Council, ensuring we have the best community while being responsible with our tax dollars.
Kathy is confident that her lived and work experience will help her to serve her community and make it the best place to live, work and raise a family in Central Ohio.
