Kevin Kresch

Michigan State Representative, District 27

Kevin will be a leading LGBTQ voice in Michigan State House

Kevin Kresch is a lifelong Oakland County resident, and proud homeowner in Hazel Park, Michigan. A product of Michigan’s public schools, Kevin went on to study Political Science at Oakland University. During that time he had the privilege to work for then State Representative Lisa Brown as her legislative aide, focusing on constituent relations and services.

While attending Wayne State University Law School, Kevin had the honor to serve as the President of their Student Bar Association’s Board of Governors. During that time Kevin chose to work as a student attorney at the Free Legal Aid Clinic where he provided free legal services to Wayne County’s senior and low-income population.

Following his graduation from Wayne Law, Kevin was asked to work on Mark Schauer’s Gubernatorial Campaign traveling the state with Lieutenant Governor candidate Lisa Brown, learning and listening to the issues that matter most to Michigan’s residents.

Kevin is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan, and a former board member of the Jewish Gay Network.

Kevin understands the challenges facing our state and our communities and he hopes you will join his campaign for State Representative of Michigan’s 27th House District, which encompasses Berkley, Ferndale, Hazel Park, Huntington Woods, Oak Park, Pleasant Ridge, and Royal Oak Township.
