Biography
Keymonta was stationed on Fort Campbell, KY in 2016. Since being in Clarksville, he has been an active member in the community. After ending his contract as a soldier in the United States Army, there has been a steady growth of community involvement. Keymonta has been chairman on the Foster Care review board for Montgomery County, an active volunteer, and has supported many small businesses. His avid involvement has provided him with the tools and resources to spread awareness for the importance of foster care support, community involvement, and infrastructure concerns. He has been married to Malik Epps for two years, together they have two amazing children Jaxen (2) and Mason(16). As a family, they understand the importance of being in the LGBT community and the need for more representation
Currently, Keymonta is a flight attendant and Bachelor’s of Social Work student at Maryville University. With his academic achievement, Keymonta has been inducted into the ‘National Society of Leadership and Success’ Honor Society. Through his nonprofit `Ethel’s Hands’, he strives to help the LGBTQ+ youth in need by providing resources and knowledge and has been actively involved in the community for many years, from donating efforts to becoming a certified foster parent. Keymonta also currently serves as COO for nonprofit organization H.E.Rstory who provides educational resources and mentorship to women interested in politics. Keymonta has also worked as a campaign manager in the grassroots campaign for Erica Pope for City Council.
