Kori will be the first LGBTQ member to the Springfield City Council
Kori Rodley is a life-long Oregonian, raised in a Douglas County logging family, and having spent the majority of her adult life living and working in Lane County. Kori attended the University of Oregon, Lane Community College, and Portland Community College; and has spent more than twenty-five years working in nonprofit management. She currently lives in Springfield, and has been the executive director of Junction City Local Aid—a community-based nonprofit providing basic needs and economic relief in Junction City, for the past four years. She is joining the team at United Way of Lane County in August 2019 as the Equity and Engagement Manager.
Kori has served on several boards of directors, committees, and task forces, including her current service as chair of the Lane County Equity and Access Advisory Board and president-elect of the Tri-County Chamber of Commerce in Junction City, Harrisburg, and Monroe. She also currently serves as the Ward 3 representative on the City of Springfield Budget Committee and on the Budget Committee for Springfield Utility Board (SUB.) Her past service has included the Equity Committee for the 4J School Board and the Eugene Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee (CDBG.)
Kori and her spouse,Teri, are the proud parents of five adult children and the extra-proud Meemaws to 3 year-old Calvin.
