Kristin would be the first out person to represent the 19th State Senate District!
Kristin (Dassler) Alfheim is a lifelong resident of Wisconsin. Growing up on a small beef farm, Kristin learned the values of work ethic and problem-solving from her father. Her mother instilled in her the importance of communication skills and the passion to accomplish great things.
Kristin has been in the Insurance and Financial Services industry since 1999. Much of her career was spent attracting, developing, and promoting agents and advisors. She has been nationally recognized for her leadership and management skills. Kristin has spent time working on and chairing national committees to help women advance in the male-dominated industry. She now devotes her time to serving as a Retirement Income Certified Professional, helping clients navigate the challenges of retirement.
Kristin has enjoyed her volunteer efforts working on the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater WI, chairing their Advocacy efforts in Madison and Washington DC. Kristin also enjoyed her advocacy efforts for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. She has served on the board of directors, and as President in 2019.
In 2021 Kristin was elected to Appleton’s Common Council where she serves on the Human Resources/ IT Committee as well as the Community Economic Development Committee. Kristin also served on Appleton’s Taskforce on Resiliency, Climate Mitigation and Adaptation Kristin reside in the Historic Old Third Ward of Appleton with her fiancé Karianne. They enjoy golfing, traveling and most of all, laughing.
