Biography

Kyle Herman is running for re-election to City Council as an out and proud native son of Stow, Ohio. Kyle grew up in Stow and went on to earn his Bachelor’s at Ohio Wesleyan, taught high school history, earned his Master’s in Public Policy at Harvard, wrote for a President and a Mayor, and managed civic programs in Iraq and Lebanon. Kyle moved home in 2020 and became a leader for Rank the Vote Ohio – a nonpartisan nonprofit for ranked choice voting. In his first term on Council, Kyle has worked with Mayor John Pribonic to improve roads, create a new Community Center, and plan an Entertainment District. He is also making progress on strengthening Stow’s public safety, reforming Stow’s Planning/Zoning codes, and expanding Stow’s parks and green spaces – all with a balanced budget. Kyle is proud of his accomplishments so far and will keep striving to earn votes to serve his hometown.
