Meg will be be the first openly LGBTQ member of the city council!
In Italian, “e amato” means “is loved.” Meg is loved in this world for many reasons and by many people. In her current role as Vice President of the Corona-Norco Teachers Association, Meg is loved for being an honest and dedicated advocate for her members and the students they educate. In the LGBTQ+ Educators Network, which she founded in her district, Meg is loved for her bravery and perseverance in fighting for change. As a teacher for 21 years, Meg is loved by her students for helping them to find their strengths and voice. When presenting at equity conferences throughout the Inland Empire, Meg is loved for her interactive presentations that use her personal story to capture the hearts of the participants. While getting her Bachelors of Liberal Studies from La Sierra University, Masters of US History from Claremont Graduate School, and Masters in Educational Administration from Cal State San Bernardino, Meg was loved by her professors and fellow students for challenging others to think in ways they had not considered before. Most importantly, Meg is loved by her wife Stephanie and their three children, Elora, Hayden and Tanner.
