Biography

Paty Baca is a graduate from Loretto Academy. She graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with both a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and a Master’s in Business Administration. Paty then went to law school in California Western School of Law in San Diego and after graduation she come back to her hometown. She joined the District Attorney’s office right away where she gave victims a voice in our system. Paty was assigned to the Rape and Child Abuse Unit for 7 years where she protected children of abuse. She then became the supervisor of the domestic violence unit where she was instrumental in developing El Paso’s nationally recognized domestic violence program. She has been with the District Attorney’s office for the past 19 years. Paty is also active in our community by being a board member at the YMCA, Center Against Sexual and Family Violence and the El Paso Bar Association.
