Highlights from his time there included: managed the Hurricane Sandy emergency response center, oversaw the state’s Office of Rent Administration for Manhattan, and contributed to the successful enactment of marriage equality and powerful gun control legislation. Peter has also served as the Finance Director for Garden State Equality and on the Government Affairs Committee for the Board of the Trevor Project. Most recently, Peter served as Chief of Staff of the team that launched Shop Small and Small Business Saturday at American Express. Peter currently serves as Director of Human Resources and Facilities for Amicus Therapeutics — a biotechnology company dedicated to developing treatments for children living with rare diseases.
