Aspen Richter

Aspen is a parent, community advocate, and connector of people and ideas. Their educational background is rooted in STEM, data, and sustainability, holding a B.S. in Chemistry from Caltech and a Sustainability Certificate from UC San Diego Extension.

Professionally, Aspen has built a diverse career across product and project management, legislative and regulatory research, and software development. While their work has spanned many fields, the through-line has always been the ability to extract insights from data and statute, break down silos, and bring people together to get things done.

Aspen has a long history of stepping up to meet community needs when action is required rather than staying silent. They have served in PTSA leadership at both the school and district levels and have participated in three district advisory committees and the citizens levy committee, earning a reputation as someone who brings valuable insight to the table.

Now, as a parent of three students in Lake Washington schools, Aspen is stepping up again to bring new leadership and fresh perspectives to the Position 4 school board seat. They are committed to strengthening communication, supporting proactive and sustainable growth, and ensuring the highest educational outcomes for all students.
