Robert will be one of the first two openly LGBTQ Framingham City Councilmembers


Robert has been driven to serve his community since choosing Framingham over seven years as a place to put down roots and start a family. He believes Framingham is a community with tremendous potential, a city that sees strength in diversity, strives for excellence in education, and honors its history while embracing innovation.

Robert was elected to Town Meeting and as the Chair of Precinct 8. He also put his financial expertise to good use as a member of the Ways & Means Committee. As a member of Ways and Means Robert worked with every department – analyzing and reviewing their budgets, operations and projects, and working committee decisions through the legislative process.

Robert stepped up again, applying for the Strategic Initiatives and Financial Oversight Committee (SIFOC) to work on a long-range strategic plan that will guide his city’s municipal economy. Robert is proud to have been selected and also appointed Chair of the committee.

For over 12 years Robert has worked at an international asset management firm where he provides oversight for a multi-million dollar budget. He has also been an administrator of non-profits in education and the arts. Robert has a Master’s Degree from Boston Conservatory and a B.A. from Wingate University. Robert is also a current board member for Access Framingham TV.

Robert and his husband, Chris, have been married for over 12 years. They have three children and two dogs who are all very active!
