Ron will be the first out LGBTQ+ member of the Annapolis City Council!
Biography
Ron Gunzburger is an attorney, former law enforcement senior commander, political consultant, and was the State of Maryland’s Director of Covid Response Strategy throughout the 2020-2022 State of Emergency. He also has a long record of activism on behalf of gay equality. Ron and his husband Dana will celebrate their 38th anniversary this summer (and their 19th anniversary since they were able to become legally married). They reside in the Annapolis Historic District, and are sponsor parents to several US Naval Academy midshipmen. Ron is running for Alderman to help make a better, safer, and more affordable Annapolis.
