Ryan is one of just two openly LGBTQ members of the Randolph Town Council
Randolph Town Councilor Ryan Egan was first elected in 2017 coming in 3rd in a 10 person race. Two years prior Ryan ran and lost by only 12 votes. Due to the passing of a sitting councilor and the town charter, Ryan took office immediately after his election in November of 2017. Ryan was sworn in as the youngest elected member in the history of the Randolph Town Council at the age of 22. Ryan is openly gay and is proud to represent the LGBTQ community as a Councilor in Randolph. During pride month 2019, Ryan made history by being the first Randolph Town Councilor ever to walk in the pride parade and had the honor of donating and raising the pride flag at Randolph Town Hall for the first time in the Town’s history. Ryan is vying for a second term this November to hopefully return as the youngest member of the Randolph Town Council. Ryan is a lifelong resident and is proud to now represent the community that raised him and gave him so much.
