Biography
Ty Stober is running for a third term on the Vancouver City Council. With over 200,000 residents, Vancouver is a leader in investing in affordable housing and dignified homeless response. Stober led the Council to adopt a 2040 carbon neutrality goal, one of the most aggressive in the country. Stober serves on the C-TRAN Public Transit Board. He is active in the National League of Cities, serving on the Board of Directors and as 1st Vice President for the LGBTQ+ Local Officials constituency group. Stober’s primary focus for his next term is increasing opportunities for affordable housing through the revision of Vancouver’s Comprehensive Plan.
