Andrew would be the youngest out gay man to serve in his district!
A proud resident of Santa Clarita, Andrew Taban has dedicated his life to improving the lives of others. For over a decade, he has invested his time and passion into elevating multiple organizations and non-profits while also working hard to ensure that the quality of education for our students remains high.
While a student in the William S. Hart Union High School District, Andrew fought to ensure his classmates throughout the district would be able to have a Jr. High School Promotion Ceremony. As he advanced to Canyon High School, his drive for service did not end. He became a part of multiple organizations and groups that improved the quality of students and educational curriculum and, on weekends, dedicated his time to equestrian therapy for youth with disabilities.
Fast forward to today, Andrew has proudly served as an education liaison in the California state assembly and continues his commitment to the Santa Clarita Valley through his work alongside community leaders, organizations, and nonprofits. Taban believes that every individual should be given the opportunity to reach their true potential and wants to fight to ensure every person has a seat at the table where decisions are made.
