Biography

As a fourth-generation Toledoan, Theresa Gadus takes extreme pride in her community. Theresa was born, raised, and still resides in District 3. Theresa is an Educational Interpreter for Toledo Public Schools and has worked at Morrison R. Waite High School for 10 years. She obtained her Bachelors of Science from The University of Toledo. Leadership is no stranger to Theresa as she participates actively in many local community organizations. She is chairperson for One Voice for East Toledo, Community Stakeholder for various city projects, President of the Stonewall Democrats of Northwest Ohio, and is a GSA Liaison/Professional Development Coordinator for GLSEN NW Ohio.

Theresa recognizes the challenges and concerns that District 3 faces. She will bring a rejuvenated perspective to city council, will work to improve city services and build safer neighborhoods.
