Lori Trent is a wife to Kelly Trent, a mother to twin sons Dylan and Skylar, who currently attend The Ohio State University, and dog mom to two Goldens Retrievers, Maddie and Finley Rose. She is an educator, community member, and business professional focused on innovating and transforming education to help meet the needs of students today. Her mission is to help better prepare all students for future success by providing real-world opportunities and experiences that ignite their love for learning and help best prepare them for life by creating collaborators, problem-solvers, and critical thinkers to help us address the problems of today and tomorrow. Professionally working as the Communications & Development Guru for PAST Foundation, an educational non-profit organization, she provides leadership by identifying and developing community relationships that will be mutually beneficial to PAST’s partners and its mission. She actively represents PAST on several local community committees and boards and helps to establish market strategy and direction to promote PAST’s programs and initiatives locally, nationally and internationally. In her role as a School Board Member and currently President of the Upper Arlington Board of Education for two years, Lori is laser-focused on students and their futures. She believes that excellent education should be equitable and available to all students regardless of their personal situations and supports this notion by believing that all students are equally capable and deserve a chance at their life’s dream … whatever that might be.
