Biography

Kate L. Triggiano is a human rights and environmental activist. Kate spearheaded the establishment of Red Bank’s now annual Pride event, “Pride in the Park.”

Kate started her journey in service as a key organizer of numerous marches and rallies in Red Bank including but not limited to the 2016 March for Bernie, the 2017 Immigrants’ Rights march and rally, the 2017 Charlottesville emergency unity rally, the 2018 Keep Families Together march, and the People’s Climate March. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography.

Kate is currently serving in her second term as a Red Bank Councilwoman, as Police and Fire Commissioner, and as liaison to the Red Bank Environmental Commission. Kate is an active volunteer firefighter with RBFD Westside Hose. Kate also serves as the Chair of the Red Bank Democrats.

Kate’s drive to serve stems from the belief that we are all in this together, and that the town she loves deserves transparent, empathetic, and driven representation for all residents.
