Jasmine Vasavada

Jasmine Vasavada, an attorney by training, has spent the last decade providing objective, nonpartisan analysis and building coalitions to help advance economic development, clean energy, broadband, and housing policy at the state level in Washington. Jasmine was born and raised in Staten Island New York and New Jersey, to parents who immigrated from India and Belgium. Jasmine and her wife, Pier, chose Thurston County Washington as the place to raise their children and put down roots because it offered opportunities for homeownership, access to natural wonders, and great jobs–in running for Port Commission, Jasmine hopes to help ensure the same opportunities are available to all throughout the county, for generations to come.
