Biography

Robbie Warach is a diversity, equity and inclusion advocate, a democracy defender, a husband and an IT professional running for a second term to represent Ward 2 on the Dover, New Hampshire City Council. He has dedicated his time over the last several years working to recruit and train progressive leaders for positions in local and state government, and ensuring their successful elections to office. In his time on the City Council, he has been a fierce advocate for public education funding, making the deciding motion to fully fund his district’s schools. He has also fought tirelessly to promote inclusion, passing a resolution condemning bigotry after neo-nazis targeted local minorities and their businesses. He stood up to the radical right in support of the LGBTQ and BIPOC communities, passing a resolution to prohibit City resources from being used for the purposes of ideological book bans. Robbie is also an advocate for climate resilience, voting to advance the City’s Community Power initiative to increase renewable energy and lower prices. He believes strongly in building community resilience in all its forms and doing so through a lens of equity and inclusion, making sure all voices are heard at the tables where decisions are made.
