Xavier will be the first openly gay Latinx man elected to the Lancaster City Council
After graduating from high school at the age of 16, Xavier enrolled at Penn State University to study International Politics and began to understand how community advocates promote human rights.
Upon returning to Lancaster, Xavier started his professional career as a refugee Resettlement Case Manager with Church World Service (CWS), where he realized thats where he belonged; in the trenches with his community. Building dreams together and walking together through difficult times.
Every role that he has served in this city has comprised of direct involvement with fellow community members, preparing him for this city council race. He chose to step into public office because of his belief that politicians should reflect and understand the needs of our city.
Xavier Garcia-Molina will be able to do that.
