Kate Maeder

Kate Maeder is a California-based political strategist, who has been working in Democratic politics and communication since 2009. She designs and develops multi-channel media strategies to win campaigns.

Before forming KMM Strategies, Kate served as the lead strategist and Campaign Manager for Eleni Kounalakis, the first woman elected Lieutenant Governor in California’s history. She was named one of the 40 Under 40 political leaders by the American Association of Political Consultants and currently serves on the boards of Equality California and Victory Campaign Board to support LGBTQ candidates around the country.

Kate is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and now lives in San Francisco with her wife and four-year-old corgi mix.
