Biography
Abi Boatman is a wife, U,S, Air Force veteran, and community advocate running to represent House District 86 in the Kansas Legislature. Originally from Ohio, Abi has called Wichita home since 2009. Over the past 12+ years, Abi has been a vocal advocate for queer Kansans through her nonprofit and volunteer work. She has also served two terms on the Wichita Public Library Board and is currently serving in her fourth year on her local District Advisory Board. Abi strongly believes in a Kansas that welcomes and works for everyone. This includes queer equality as well as strong public schools, affordable healthcare, and a living wage for hard-working Kansans.
