Biography
Ashley Orozco is a dedicated public servant, community advocate, and candidate for Ventura County Supervisor committed to building a more inclusive, affordable, and equitable future for all residents. A proud LGBTQ leader, Ashley understands firsthand the importance of representation and the power of having a seat at the table where decisions are made. Ashley currently serves on the Conejo Recreation and Park District Board, where she has championed transparent governance, community investment, and expanded access to public spaces and programs for working families. Throughout her career, she has organized at the grassroots level, worked on local county supervisor campaigns, and stood alongside union members on picket lines advocating for better wages, healthcare, and respect for working people. Her campaign is focused on addressing Ventura County’s most pressing challenges: the affordability crisis, access to quality jobs, climate resilience, and ensuring historically underrepresented communities, including LGBTQ residents, are heard and protected in local government. Ashley is running to bring bold, compassionate leadership to the Board of Supervisors and to ensure county government reflects and serves the full diversity of the community.
