Biography
Beth Doglio is a Washington State Representative serving the 22nd Legislative District, which includes Olympia and surrounding communities. She is the first openly bisexual member of the Washington State Legislature and a proud member of the Legislature’s LGBTQ Caucus. A longtime environmental advocate, organizer, and community leader, Beth serves as Chair of the House Environment & Energy Committee and as a member of the House Appropriations and State Government & Tribal Relations Committees. In the Legislature, she has championed climate action, clean energy, voting rights, reproductive freedom, gun violence prevention, housing stability, labor protections, and policies that support working families. Beth’s commitment to public service is rooted in decades of advocacy for people and the planet. She previously worked with Climate Solutions and has built strong partnerships with organizations working to protect Washington’s environment, expand civil rights, and strengthen communities. Outside the Legislature, Beth serves on the boards of New Horizons Communities and the South Sound YMCA. She lives in Olympia with her family and is running for re-election to continue building a more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable Washington.
