Biography
Casey Willits has been a lifelong advocate for equality, fair wages, and government that works everyone. He has worked for several progressive campaigns and helped lead the fight for marriage equality as an executive director for an LGBTQ organization. For the past 11 years, he has worked as a public sector worker at the University of Florida and is a member of the staff union. He took his commitment for public service and unique perspective as a worker to City Hall where he has served as the District 3 City Commissioner since January 2023.
